Do you take insurance?

I do not take insurance and am not in any insurance networks. Because I am a licensed professional counselor, my professional services do qualify for patient reimbursement under most insurance plans. Coverage varies widely from policy to policy, so you may want to review your benefits to determine your expected reimbursement.

Typical reimbursement is 30-60% of the “allowed” fee, once your deductible is met. I can provide monthly invoices that contain all the information needed to submit for reimbursement from your insurance company.

The procedure code used for couples that is generally reimbursable is called “conjoint psychotherapy.” This procedure code is 908.47. Use this language when inquiring with your insurance about reimbursement for couples counseling.

Can I see you if I’ve never seen a therapist before?

Absolutely. I have many clients who are new to therapy. My approach is very inclusive and collaborative.
